SURPRISED ON BIRTHDAY

Mrs. Neal Swart was pleasantly surprised on her birthday July 1, with a party given in her honor, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ben Sw'art. Those present to make it a happy occasion were Mr. and Mrs. James Hazlett, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Sekema, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sekema, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sekema Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hoffman, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Swart, Arnold hnd Dennis, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Sw r art and Jack, Sherry Stellingwref and Mitchel Ockermann all of DeMotte and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Zandstra of Lansing, 111. Mrs. Swart received many lovely gifts and cards to commemorate the day. A delicious luncheon was served.
