Peritonitis Is Death Cause of Wheatfield Man

Willard F. Reynolds Succumbs At Porter Hospital Following Surgery Willard F. Reynolds, a resident of Wheatfield community for ten years, died of peritonitis at Porter Memorial hospital in Valparaiso at 9:30 o’clock Thursday morning, eight days after he had undergone surgery for ruptured appendix. He was unmarried. Mr. Reynolds was born in Attica September 2, 1916, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Reynolds who now live in Wkeatfield. Most of his boyhood was spent in Chicago. Since going to Wheatfield he had been engaged in farming. Surviving besides the parents are two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Lucille Warner of Chicago, Mrs. Beatrice Huddelston of Los Angeles and Joseph Reynolds, jr., of Big Horn, Montana, and two nephews, Bud and Fred Warner, of Chicago. Funeral services were held from United Brethren church in Morocco at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Interment was at Morocco cemetery beside the grave of the deceased’s cousin, John Rader, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rader who lost his life in an automobile accident last September.
