Two midwestern congressmen expressed fear today the Russian blockade of Berlin might lead to war. Rep. Michener (R-Mich.) said he believes the United States already is “nearer to war” now than it was in the' year just before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Rep. .Judd (R-Minn.) said that is American troops remain in the German capital “it may lead to war —but if we don’t it surely will lead to war.” ' The two lawmakers expressed these opinions in separate interviews.
