Mother of Local Man Dies Friday At Co. Hospital

Mrs. Henrietta (Fry) Bush, Long Time Resident of County, Dies After 2-Weeks Illness Mrs. Henrietta (Fry) Bush, a resident of Wheatfield for fifty years and widow of Andrew Jackson Bush, passed away at Jasper county hospital at 4:30 o’clock Friday morning, May 28, following a two weeks illness. She was 86 years old. Mrs. Bush was born at Hebron, Indiana, March 18, 1862, the daughter of Jason and Hannah (Sheridan) Fry. She was married to Andrew Bush at LaPorte sixtyeight years ago. Following residence in Crown Point the couple moved to Wheatfield which place had since been her home. Surviving are a son, Clarence, of DeMotte, six grandchildren, a brother, L. B. Fry, of Jerome, Idaho, and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Lloyd, of Rockville, Indiana. Mrs. Bush was a member of the Church of Christ of Wheatfield. Funeral services were held from the Todd Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Interment was at Wheatfield cemetery. Rev. Wallace Jones was in charge of the services.
