KEENER HOME EC.
The Keener Home Economics club met Friday. May 21st with Ethel Cheever with thirteen members present. The meeting was opened with the pledge to the flag. The Home Ec. creed was read by Mrs. Storey. The song of the month, “Now The Day Is Over.” was surig and it’s history read. Mrs. Mabel Hunter reported on the president’s meeting which she had attended in Rensselaer recently. Some plans were made for achievement day which is held every Fall and includes all the Home Ec. clubs in the county. • Florence DeYoung gave the lesson for the day. which was on pressure sauce pans. The pressure pan is a new way for most people to cook. It is a faster way of cooking and a perfectly safeway. if the directions are followed. Mabel Hunter and Florence Storey won the prizes for the two contests which were held. The door prize was won by Mrs. Felthouse. A large group of young men of DeMotte and Hebron were initiated into the -Moose lodge at \ alparaisp last Sunday.
