The children of Mrs. Clifford Myers spent Sunday recently at her home to celebrate their moth-

Nuss, who has been ill is better now and the children visited her Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mildice, who were married May 22 are visiting his brother, John in Little Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Carol Pinter took Dicky Boezeman to Highland for a visit with his. aunt, Janet Wakefield and family. Scouts of America and Father Flanagan of Boys’ Town who have done so much for boys, died recently. Mrs. Kuester will entertain the Sew Club June 4th. J. B. Simpson of Logansport was a business caller in Wheatfield Wednesday. Mr. Doherty (the music teacher of Wheatfield and George Dicks will leave Saturday morning for Holland, Michigan for the Tulip Festival. Mr. Doherty will then

take George on to horns in South Rockwood. ' ■ •! Miss Brown, Miss Smith and Miss Stroup went to Holland for the Tulip Festival. The commencement was some what of a disappointment due to failure of the speaker to be able to be here. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Strack and children and Mrs. Ida Strack of Goodland visited the U. H. Henrichs Sunday.
