H. C. DEKOCK & SONS ADD SERVE-YOUR-SELF FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE

H. C. DeKOck and Sons have greatly improved the enterior of their store this week. They have added metal serve-your-self counters, which are neatly stacked with groceries. Each box, can, jar etc., has the cost of the article written on it. All items on the shelves in the grocery department are also marked, making it convenient for the customers to serve themselves. Carts, in which to carry purchases, can be found at the front of the store. The cash register, bags for packing groceries- have been moved with the wooden counters to the center of the stox-e, just west of the entrance. Fresh fruits and vegetables can now be found at the rear of the grocery department. All these changes and additions of equipment add to the convenience of the shopper and also give a pleasing modern note to the store.
