Mrs. Estol Meyers entertained fourteen members of the Jolly Club at her home in Rensselaer on Tuesday afternoon, January 20. Three guests were present, Mrs. Wesley Hurley, Mrs. M. B. Temple and Mrs. Clarence Smith. Prizes were won by Mrs. Vernon Stevens, Mrs. Lester Holbrook,
Mrs. N. H. Peterson and Mrs. Charles Bricker. Refreshments were served. Mrs. Lester Holbrook will be hostess to the club February 3 in the home of her mother, Mrs. John Middlekamp. Donna Kay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Borman Jr., has recovered from the chicken pox. Mr. and Mrs. Stanlay Lucas of; Indiana Harbor spent the week- j end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kenchus. Mrs. Wm. Bricker entertained the Home Economics Club in her home on Thursday afternoon with six members present. It was decided by the club to donate one dollar to the March of Dimes. The officers of 1948 were installed. Mrs. Wm. Bricker president, Mrs. Andraw Allen, vice-president, Mrs. Clarence Stowers, Sec. and Treas., and Ellen Peterson, publicity chairman.
