JOHN MOLDEN ARRESTED FOR PUBLIC INTOXICATION
John Molden of northern Jasper county was arrested at Korker’s Inn early Saturday morning by State Trooper Robert Bostwick who filed a public intoxication charge against Molden. The. defendant has not been arraigned and is in jail here. Marshall Clifford Kerns was called to the John Morehouse tavern in Wheatfield to pick up Molden, who was said to have been carrying a P-38 automatic. When the officer arrived at the tavern he learned Molden and his companions had departed. He then notified the Sheriff’s office here and Bostwick, accompanied by Sheriff Webb and Deputy Lesh located Molden at Korker’s Inn. Molden was wearing an empty holster. He told the officers he had given the weapon to his son, Orbie, to take home.
