STALIN AND HITLER DEAL IS REVEALED
Secret Documents Found In Berlin At End of War Show Nazi-Soviet 1940 Alliance Washington, Jan. 21 State Secretary Marshall threw the book al soviet Russia tonight—a massive array of captured nazi documents baring details of the partnership between Russia’s present leaders and Adolf Hitler’s reich for the division of eastern Europe. With Marshall’s sanction, the state department published the entire record of 260 formerly secret records disclosing that Russia: 1. Backed Germany heavily in her war against the west, furnishing supplies by the hundred thousand ton, traving to the last for “friendship” with Germany and aiding the nazi campaign to keep Turkey neutral. 2. Agreed with Hitler that the United States, as wel las Britain,
should be shut out of Europe, Asia, and Africa. 3. Lost Hitler as an. ally, and paved the way for Germany’s invasion of Russia, by demanding—among other things—a military base “within range of the Bosporus and the Dardanelles” and assurance that the oil rich area “south of Batum and Baku in the general direction of the Persian gulf be recognized as the center of the aspirations of the soviet union.” Closed With Invasion. Starting with an official report of the first soviet bid for closer ties with the Nazis, months before World War 11., the book embodied evidence whose release Russia blocked at the Nuernberg war crimes trials.
