MAGAZINE BLOWS UP; IS FELT FOR MILES

Colton, Cal., Jan. 22 A powder magazine at the California Portland Cement company plant blew up today, killing four men, Coroner R. E. Williams reported. Windows for miles around were broken by the blast. Mrs. Thelma Holladay entertained her bridge club, Friday evening. Prizes were won by Fay Curtin, Grace Cheever, Lois Running and Gladys Ewart.
