COMMUNISTS WIN

Paris, Jan. 20 Communists won out over Gen. Charles DeGaulle’s new rally of French people and Premier Robert Schuman’s “third force” movement in an election at the Paris suburb of Malakoof yesterday. The election, held to name a new municipal council, gave the Communists 13 seats, the DeGaullists nine and the third force five.
