Miss Genevieve Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wright of DeMotte, became the bride of Eugene Prochno, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Prochno of Valparaiso Saturday, January 17th The double ring ceremony was read by the Rev. Koepke at 2 o’-' clock at the Emmanuel church of Valparaiso, before a few relatives and friends. < The bride was attired in a blue flannel dress with black accessories. Her flowers were a shoulder corsage of white carnations. The maid of honor wore a grey dress with black accessories and a shoulder corsage of red roses. Following the wedding a dinner was served at the home of the groom’s parent’s for many relatives and friends. Mrs. Prochno is . one of DeMotte’s popular people. She is a graduate of DeMotte high school, graduating with the class of ’45. Mr. Prochno graduated from Boone Grove, with the class of ’43. He was in the army of World War II for 19 months, serving much of that time in Germany. The young cojiple will make their home with the groom’s parents for a short time, after which they will move into their own home. The groom is engaged in farming in Porter county.
