This contest it sponsored every year by the Van Rensselaer chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Other contestants and their schools were: Annette Wolf,

Wheatfield; Betty Jo Murphy, Fair Oaks, and Pauline Kingma, DeMotte. The winner in each state receives a free trip to Washington, D. ‘C., and an unusual opportunity to visit places of interest in the national capital. Mrs. Kathryn Duvall is homo after a visit with her family in Knightstown. Wednesday she entertained Mrs. Fay Curtin, Mrs. Frances Zeck and Mrs. Grace Cheever with a bridge luncheon at her home.
