The DeMotte W.S.C.S. held their January meeting at the church with 14 members present. The
meeting was opened with devotions lead by Mrs. Moor. Mrs. Fay Curtin was presented with a past president pin. The lesson of the day was given by Mrs. Florence Story, assisted by Mrs. Moor, Mrs. Stangle, Mrs. Archibald, Fay Curtin, Lorraine Gorbet and Frances Zeck. ■ It was decided to continue send-
ing boxes to Miss Mae Bailey, missionary in Japan. Miss Bailey is fro* Lowell and is well known here. The members decided to keep the pledge system for another year as a way of raising money. The meeting was closed by prayer, lead by Mrs. Moor.
