P.T.A. MEETING

The January meeting of the P.T.A., held Tuesday, January 13th, was 0| ened with the pledge to the flag. Mrs. Carl Fritts, gave a short talk on why “The March of Dimes Should be Supported.” A coll ection of $12.50 was taken for this cause. „ The eighth grade furnished

music by singing, “Early Morning,” “Home On The «Range,” “Deep River,” “Grandfather’s Clock” and “Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms.” The second grade won the attendance banner for the evening and the $5.00 prize for the most parents joining the P.T.A. Mrs. Hission reported that they had spent their money for phonograph

records. Miss Christiana Colius, R.N., gave a very interesting talk on “The Public Health Nurse and Her Place in the Schools To-Day.”
