DeMotte Lady Dies At Gary Saturday

Mrs. Luther Kinney Siltcumbs Following Long Period of 11l Health Mrs. Erma Mae Kinney, wife of Luther Kinney of DeMotte, diefl at 12:45 o’clock Saturday morning at Methodist hospital in Gary. She had been in failing health for ten years and seriously ill for one year. Mrs. Kinney was born in Winchester, Ind., July 20, 1880, the daughter of William Dusenberry and Cordelia (Robins) Dusenberry. She became a resident of DeMotte a year and a half ago, going there from Gary. She was married at Martinsville, Ind. ' Surviving besides the husband are two children, William Hancock of near Crown Point and Mrs. Cecil Dwyer of DeMotte; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Wampler of Albuquerque, N.M., and a brother, Roscoe Dusenberry of Gosport, and two grandchildren. Mrs. Kinney was a member of the First Nazarene church >of Gary. Funeral services were conducted from Todd’s Funeral Home in DeMotte, at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon with the Rev. James Shaw of Porter officiating. Burial was at Gosport.
