DeMotte Unit 440, American legion here by wishes to thank the public for their generous donations toward the “Gift For A Yank” Christmas boxes. Many hospitalized veterans’ Christmas was made happier by your gift. Especially do we thank Mr. Lageveen for his generous donations in the form of gifts and clothing for the Girl’s School at Indianapolis and other places, which the auxiliary had a part in sponsoring.
