Thursday, Tefft vs Mt. Ayr; LaCross vs DeMotte. ' Friday, Wheatfield vs San Pierre; Fair Oaks vs Remington. Saturday, 1:30, Winner game 1 vs winner of game 2. Saturday, 2:45, Winner of game 3 vs winner of game 4. Saturday night, B:oo—Finals. This week-end Fair Oaks will be the center of activity for play-, ers~ and fans of this region as they battle it out for the championship of the Kankakee Valley region. Favorite on basis of games won will be Mt. Ayr, but they will have to meet and defeat two good teams to get into the finals. On the other side of the draw, we should find San Pierre and Remington fighting it out on Saturday afternoon for the chance to play in the finals. This tourney is always hard fought with frequent upsets. That’s what makes it so interesting to the public of this region. Plan to spend the week-end at Fair Oaks. We’ll see you there.
