A group of young people from the American tverorm church had a New Year’s eve party at the home of Marie Intveld. Mrs. Emma DeKock fell on the icy steps in front of the American Reform church, December 31st and suffered a slight concussion. .

The Keener Home Ec. will hold their first meeting of the year Friday, January 16. Mrs. Florence DeYoung will be hostess with Mire. John Felthouse as co-hostess. Janet Rose Hammerton visited Betty Ewart in North Judson Wednesday evening and attend a New' Year watch party. Mrs. Louis Ramp and son, Jerry and Ricky spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Rensselaer. ; ~

Mr. and Mrs. Neil Kaper left for Florida yesterday. Mr. Kaper’s sister from Chicago is staying here with their children. “Imp” Hammerton is out and back to work after his having been ill with pneumonia. Boyd Schwanke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schwanke is recuperating from an appendectomy operation performed at Rensselaer hospital last Saturday. Midshipman Wm. Ely returned to Annapolis, December 31st. „
