LIONS CLUB MEETS TUESDAY

The Lion’s Club of DeMotte met at Mary’s Restaurant, Tuesday noon. Discussions included the past mOTffh’s activitiesT the Christmas affairs were dismissed with thanks. New business being campaign for angle parking at the curbs to facilitate safety and consideration of town shoppers. Every one is encouraged to park at the correct angle to the curb. The. Lions Internations are having the annual membership drive this month and anyone interested is cordially invited to join a growing and progressive club of DeMotte. The social evening of this month will be held the 22nd of January with the Lions and their ladies cordially invited to attend a seafood dinner at Mary’s restaurant at 7 o’clock. Other Lions Clubs are also invited. Mrs. Simon Hosterljck’ of Rogers Park, Chicago, was a guest of her brother, Fred L. Boissy and family Christmas week. Mr. H. C. Dekock Sr., left January Ist for Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Fase are staying in his home while he' is gone.
