GET PAY HIKE

South Bend, Dec. 30 South Bend and Mishawaka Bus drivers received a 10-cent hourly wage increase today as the result of an arbitration board recommendation over the week-end. The payboost, retroactive to Oct. 1, will affect about 250 drivers, members of the AFL Amagamated street, Electric Railway and Motor Coach Employees union and will hike their hourly pay to $1.30.
