“SAVE THE SHADES” FUND RECEIVES SCHOOL CONTRIBUTION

The DeMotte schools collected $10.05 from their pupils as. a contribution toward the campaign to save the Scenic Shades park and establish it as Indiana’s fifteenth state park. The campaign, put in motion by the Indiana Department of Conservation and backed by Governor Gates has had immediate and state wide response with numerous individuals and organizations pledging their aid.
