DEMOTTE MAN DIES AFTER A LONG ILLNESS
Henry Prattner, Native Of Germany, Dies Early Saturday Morning Henry Prattner, a resident of DeMotte, died at 2:30 o’clock Saturday morning of complications that had affected his health for a period of five years. Mr. Prattner was born in Germany May 17, 1870, the son of Philip and Amelia Prattner. He was married in Chicago August 25, 1917. During his active life he was employed as a sheet metal worker. Surviving him are the widow, a son, Martin R., of Chicago, a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Swanson, of Chicago, a step-son, Arthur E., of Chicago, and two brothers, Martin and Bernard of Chicago, and three grandchildren. Mr. Prattner was a member of the Sorrowful Mother church. The remains were taken to Scransky and Son Funeral Home, 5112 Western ave., Chicago, Sunday. The funeral services were held in Chicago Tuesday at the St. Clair Monte Falco church and burial was at the Saint Marie cemetery.
