Jackson received the guest prize. Mrs. Lester Holbrook at Wheatfield will entertain the club on August 5. Frank and Hershal Odle were in the southern part of the state on Monday. The St. John Lutheran sewing circle met last Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. John M. Middelkamp. An enjoyable lunch was served. The next meeting will be with Mrs. Date Wynkoop, Aug. 13. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Thies and family, of Kansas City, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Thies this week with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Thies. Mr. and Mrs. L. Wynkoop and son of Excelisior, Minn., Art Wynkoop of Hall City, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Walker of Hammond spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Wynkoop on Sunday the above including Dora Wynkoop, Mr. and Mrs.. Dale Wynkoop and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Misch and sons attended the Wynkoop reunion at Lebanon, Ind.
Mr. and Mrs. John M. Middelkamp, and Mr. and Mrs. John E. Middrlkamp and family spent last Sunday in Hammond at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kroet. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sorenson, Miss Myrtle Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. James Close and son, Earl of Chicago were dinner guests at the Filson home Sunday, July 20. Mrs. Ellsworth Clem and son of Berrien Springs, Mich., visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Odle last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nemith and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Hershal Odle attended the Stowell reunion at the Leßoy school house on Sunday, July, 30. My».
