DEMOTTE FEED SALES & SERVICE HOLDS TURKEY GROWERS MEET

A gala and interesting evening was enjoyed by one of the largest gatherings of Tui’key Growers and Breeders ever assembled in Northwestern Indiana last Monday night at Mary’s Restaurant when DeMotte Feed Sales and Service and Pillsbury Mills, Inc., held their annual meeting. A turkey supper consisting of smoked and roast turkey with all the trimmings was prepared and served very ably by Henry Starkey, his kitchen staff, and waitresses. Neil Kaper introduced Mr. Hectoi’ Linxauge of Pillsbury. Mills as Mastex - of Ceremonies, who in turn introduced the speakers foxthe evening. Dr. F. C. Tucker V. M. D. of the Purdue Extension Service delivered an intresting talk on Pullorum and othex- diseases found in turkeys, Sanitation, and Medication. Mr.-Bob Janxieson of Pillsbury Mills spoke on proper management, feeding and marketing of finished birds. Both speakers are noted authorities in the turkey industry and presented xxxany interesting facts and figures.
