Mrs. Ralph Hoffman Dies at Blue Island
Mrs. Ralph Hoffman died March 13 at her home in Blue Island, 111., follojving a six-months illness. She was 48 years of age, having been born on November 13,1888. Surviving besides the husband are three children, Madeline at home, and Homer and William. .Services were held Monday, March 17, at hit. Greenwood Reformed church at 111th street and Drake avenue ip Blue Island, with the Rev. Everett DeWitt officiating. Interment was at ML Greenwood cemetery. Those from DeMotte who attended funeral services were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hoffman and daughters, "Mr. and Mrs. Dick Tyson, Mrs. Wm T. Hamstra, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hoffman and children. Mr. and Mrs. George Hoffman and children. Mrs. Andrew Hamstra. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Sipkema. Mrs. Ralph Meyers, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hoffman, Howard and Ethell Max, Mr. and Mrs: .Wm DeYoung and son, Jerry, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Walstra and Elvina Hoffman. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hoffman. Mr. and Mrs. Herman DeFries and Mr. and Mrs. Jphn DeFries. Miss, - Caroline Bass and her roomate Leona Sprincle of Cedar Rapids. lowa, spent the week-end here.
