Mrs., John Williams and daughter Kathy of Long Beach, California are here for a visit with Geo. Williams And family and her father, Pat Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Art Blue and sons have returned from a week’s visit with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith and family of Atlanta, Georgia. f Mr. and Mrs. William Keene spent Monday shopping in Hammond. Fied Hayes, husband of the former Nettie Hershman and former resident of Wheatfield passed away at his home in Florida recently. John Collins, a brother of Flora Tilton died last week at his home in Michigan. Dan Tannei a resident of Wheatfield for several years has moved to the home of his daughter in Rensselaer. Mr. and Mrs. John Hight and daughter Sharon ’spent last Sunday with Mrs. Ethel Hight. Mrs. Seibee, who has been quite ill recently has gone to the home of her daughter in Rensselaer. Monday evening the business men of Wheatfield met at the Wayne Jones for a business meeting, flatters pertaining to the good of the community were discussed. On March 29th the Shatzley farm of 200 acres will he offered for sale at private sale on the premises to tjie highest bidder, Terms will he 1-5 cash, balance at expiration of 30 days. The sale will start at 11:00 a.m. and cannot, he sold for less than appraised value'. This sale will continue from day to dAy until sold and is suject to approval of the Jasper Circuit Court. Mr. and Mis. Alfred Duggleby have returned from several weeks vacatiop at Hot Springs, Arkansas.
