Corner Store Confuses Tourist; Mislays Wife

WASHINGTON. A Rhode Island tourist stopped outside' a corner drug store here to buy some postcardjs. He left his wife sitting in their car at the curb. When he. came out, he saw no car. - ■- . So he asked a bystander if he had seen a car there. -The bystander said, ‘“Yes. A man got in it and drove it away.” The tourist dashed into the drug store and excitedly phoned police that his wife!"had been carried off. 5 Police arrived, looked about a bit and found the wife patiently sitting in the family car—around the corner. j Her husband had gone into the drug store from one street and come out ort the other.
