Long Stolen Tschaikovsky Paper Found in Library

MOSCOW. RUSSIA. The Mos, cow News said a manuscript of Tachaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite’' stolen nearly Half a cenfury ago! from the St. Petersburg conservatory library had been found in a load of waste paper. A young Leningrad composer named : Zablotsky discovered the score in paper he had bought to cover his apartment walls before hanging wallpaper, the newspaper said. It added that the manuscript, turned dVer to the Soviet government for deposit in the TschSTJcovsky museum, was believed to be the one froin which the composer conducted, subdivisions on it being lettered in blue pencil.
