John and Marie Intveld’ visited relatives at the Percy Jones Hospital at Battle Creek last weekend. Mrs. Neil Swart has returned from the hospital, but is still quite ill. Mr. and Mrs. Melva Barker Sr., visited their new granddaughter in Chicago Sunday. Fes Klein has purchased the Clarence Walstra property and has moved in. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Walstra have moved to their newly purchased home, the former Peterson property. Rev. James Stegeman of Muskegon Heights, Michigan was the guests preacher at the American Reformed Church, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Clark of Rensselaer were recent visitors at the- O. P. Rowen home. Harris Sampson injured his hand Tuesday morning while at work on his farm. * Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Rowen were business callers in Chicago Tuesday. Mrs. Grover Gorbet, who recently submitted, to a serious operation is able to sit up a little each day now. Wm. Swart was in South Bend Monday on business. '* Mr. and Mrs. George Schaefer and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Molenhour of Chicago Sunday. Miss Ruth Broekema, missionary to China,'and Mr. John Fultman were supper' guests at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Dolfin Friday night. Little Patricia Hope Wicker has suffered a serious relapse. She was able to he out of bed 5 days when the relapse occured and is now confined to bed. No visitors are allowed. It is thought that she may have to go to Arizona in the n?*ar future. would like a letter from her friends. On Monday Rev 1 . F. Dolfin and Rudy Zylstra went to visit Mrs. Terpstra at the Wabash Sanitor'ium and Malcolm Boezeman both of whom are in Lafayette.
