MRS. WILLIAM BIERLEY DIES AT HOSPITAL
Succumbs After Long Illness; Funeral Services Held On Thursday Mrs. William Bierley passed awayj at Jasper cd’unty hospital Monday night following a long illnesk- She had been a hospital patient for six weeks, bedfast for several months and in poor health for a! long time. MrS. Bierley was born July 1, 1883, in northern Jasper county, the daughter of Elizer Biggs and Mary Ann (Nottingham) Biggs. She was married to William Bierley on Jan. 2, 1902. The family had lived on Jasper county farms all their life until about a year ago when thpy moved to a farm at the south edge of Brook in Newton county. Surviving besides the husband are the following children: Winifred Bierley. Brook; Jesse Bierley, Kentland; Mrs. Ivan Handley, Rensselaer; and Wm. Jr., and Rex at home. She had no brothers or sisters. Funeral services were held at the W. J. Wright Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m.. with the Rev. ii Earl Moore of Rensselaer Methodist church in charge. Burial was made in Weston .cemetery.
