Fair Oaks Host To Second Team Tourney

Eight Teams Participating In Net Meet Jasper county’s second team basketball fives moved into the spotlight at Fair Oaks on January 22, with Fair Oaks as Ihe host school, Principal William Hutchison announced Saturday. The squads will be made up of boys who did not participate in the Kankakee Valley meet at Wheatfield recently. Play started Wednesday night, continued through Thursday night and then will skip until Saturday night, with afternoon games being played on only Saturday afternoon. Admission prices are 35c add 20c. Following is the schedule: Wednesday night 7 o’clock—Fair Oaks vs Rensselaer. 8 o’clock—San Pierre vs DeMotte. Thursday Night 7 o’clock—Remington vs Wheatfield. 8 o’clock—Tefft vs Saturday P. M. 1:30 o’clock—Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 2. 2:30 o’clock—Winner Game 3 vs Winner Game 4. Saturday Night 7 o’clock—Loser Game 5 vs Loser Game 6.
