DE MOTTE MAN SUCCUMBS TO HEART ATTACK

William Orsborne Dies Tuesday Noon; Services Held Yesterday William Orsborne, prominent in the life of -DeMotte community, passed afcay at his home Tuesday noon following a heart stroke. He was, the operator of the skating rink in DeMotte. Mr. Orsborne was born at Ross, Indiana, March 25, 1892, and had been a resident of DeMotte for thirty-five year, going there Jrom Crown Point. He was a son of Frank Orsborne and'lda (Phillips) Orsborne. He was married to Louise Fisher at Valparaiso May 11, 1944. Surviving besides the widow, is the mother, who lives in Crown Point; two daughter, Mrs. Pansy Hanford of Fair Oaks and Mrs. Ruth Starkey of DeMotte; two sons, Harry (Bill) Orsborne of DeMotte and Paul Kenneth Orsborne, who is in army service; three step-children, Bernice Akers of Wheeler and Dorothy Barker and Jack Fisher of DeMotte; eight brothers and sisters, Rachael Meredith of Benton Harbor, Mich., Rose Pdkchke of Hammond, Harry Orsborne of Kouts, Myrtle Argentine of Hammond, Pete Orsborne of Crown Point, George Orsborne of Canton, Ohio, Ida Daurner of Kouts and Alice Lizak of Wisconsin. The funeral services were held from DeMotte Methodist church at 1:30 o’clock Thursday, with the Rev. W. D. Archibald in charge. Burial was at DeMotte cemetery. Todd Funeral Home was in charge.
