SHOT IN HAND

Robert Lund, 22 of 3832 177th Street Hammond, took his .22 caliber rifle to the basement of his home Thurs. evening to fire a test shot. When he laid the gun down preparatory to arange a target, it discharged accidently he told police, and the bullet entered his left palm and came out the side of his hand. He was taken to St. Margaret hospital in the police ambulance. Robert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Boezeman of DeMotte. Mrs. Terry Crane and Maurice spent Thanksgiving at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Heilema. Mrs. Terry Crane was visiting friends in Chicagb over the weekend. , i Ik I Mrs. Nettie Kelly of Gary spent Tuesday at her daughters, Mrs. Frank Zeck.
