Gerret Woudema came home last Wednesday from Fort Benj. Harrison hospital after spending 20 days at the hospital. Mr. , and Mrs. C. Westerhoff visited over the week-end at the home of her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney F. Piersma, of Rochelle, 111. Roy Duggins and family Of were visiting his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Duggins recently. Sunday visitors at the Bert Duggins home were their two nephews, Fred and William Raska of Michigan City, Ind. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Peterson are the parents of a daughter born Nov. 21. She has been named Barbara Jean. Hichard Henrichs is home on furlough. Mrs. Mary Musch and son, John and Richard Grevenstuk visited Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hanford of Thawville last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Myres are the parents of a daughter born Sunday, Nov. 24. The little Miss has been named Beverly Jean. Jack Stellingwerf and Marilyn Sekema visited Mr. and Mrs. Dick Uitenbogaard of Chicago Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Art Peterson are the parents of a daughter born Thursday. Mrs. Gerald Knipe and son returned home Monday night. Mrs. Potter is critically ill at her home. Mrs. Hart is seriously ill at her home. The Willing Workers of the Ist Reformed church met Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Bernie Tysen and Mrs. Wm. Hamstra were the leaders for the November meeting. The topic was Thanksgiving. Hostess for the afternoon was Mrs. Wm. Hamstra and Mrs. Joe Hamstra. Wm. G. Hoffman, son of Mr., and Mrs. George Hoftman, returned home Sunday evening from Panama where he has been stationed while in the army. Bill is to receive his discharge Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Tysen and son, Junior, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hamstra visited Mrs. Leona Kelley of Mishawaka Sunday. Their daughter, Edith, and neice, Elvina Hoffman, returned home with them. Mrs. Tjerk Hamstra was removed to her home in DeMotte by aYnbulance from Jasper county hospital. Mrs. Ralph Myers and daughter have returned to their home in DeMptte from the Jasper county hospital. The Rev. and Mrs. Henry Mpllema were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Swart Sunday.
