Rooms are dwarfed by large or »ut-of-proportion openings. Height »f a window can be cut by adding a valance at the top. A too-wide wintow may be remedied by using loor-length draperies and curtains to emphasize vertical lines and iy letting the draperies cover part "»f the window. The greater the amount of light streaming in those windows, the larger the room will seem; so it may require some experimentation to discover which method will do the most for the room.
