ROSELAWN LEGION POST HAS BASKETBALL TEAM

The American Legion Post 238 of Roselawn, and nearby towns has started a basketball team. The team will be known as the Kankakee Valley Post team. K.V.P. played Hebron Thursday, November 14 and won 35 to 34. They then traveled to Oxford and were beaten Sunday, Nov. 17, 4034. Other teams scheduled include Wheatfield, Nov. 19 and Kouts, Nov. 21. The Legion Post 238 will be host to an old-fashiened community meeting to be held Dec. 6 at the Roselawn school at 8 o’clock.
