The Kniman School will hold its annual carnival on Monday evening, November 25. Miss Jane Allyn spent from Friday until Wednesday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Allyn Jane is attending school in Frankfort, Indiana. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Busselburg of Valparaiso, spent Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Middelkamp, Mrs. Andrew Allen and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Myers and Carol Sue, went to Louisville, Illinois, to visit Mr. and Mrs. Russell Milner and fanrily, Saturday, returning on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Dionne were visitors at the John E. Middlekamp’s home on Wednesday evening. Mrs. John M. Middelkamp entertained the Jolly Club on Tues-
day afternoon with nine members present and one guest, Miss Jane Allyn. Prizes were awarded, Mrs. Simon Groefc, Mrs. Alex Hanewich, Mrs. N. H. Peterson, and Mrs. Dale Wynkoop. Mrs. Floyd Allyn will be hostess to the club on Tuesday afternoon. November 26. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Allyn. Eddie and Jane, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hanewich, Sunday. Mrs. John Pettet entered the Jasper county hospital pn Tues-; day. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nemeth are the proud parents of a son, Paul Donald, born at the Rensselaer hospital Saturday afternoon. Leo Current had an operation for appendicitis in the county hospital last week. Mr. and Mrs* Bert Filson;and son, Ted, attended the Home Coming of Embury Methodist Church in Chicago, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George Whitmite of Calument City and Mrs. Harry Stokes of Hammond, were Sunday visitors at the Peterson home.
