Flying Farmer; Editor Of Prairie Farmer, To Headline Corn Show Banquet December sth Bill Renshaw, .editor of the In--1 diana edition of Prairie Farmer will be the speaker at the Coin Grower’s Banquet this year to be held at the Methodist church on Thursday, December 5. Mr. Renshaw is also in charge of the flying farmers department of the magazine and is a frequert speaker over Radio Station WLS. He will officially crown the Jasper county Corn King and Corn Prince at the conclusion of the banquet. i The corn show silver trophies will be awarded at the corn barquet, also* the 5 acre corn contest medals will be awarded to i all county winners in the adult farmer and boy’s divisions bp county agent J. A. Carroll. Tick - i ets for the banquet are on sale at Long’s Drug Store or at the i county agent’s office. Silver trophies and prizes in the 4-H corn club classes wi 1 also be awarded at this time. Exhibitors are urged to prepare their corn for the corn show to be held on December 3, 4 and 5 in the armory at Rensselaer.
