Rural Youth Club Holds Monthly Meet

Kniman School Is Center Of November Meeting; Clarence Duttlinger Elected President The Jasper County Rural Youth Club held its regular month y meeting Tuesday November 19. at the Kniman School. Forty members and guests attended. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m.. by Ralph Rockwe 1. president. Minutes of. the October meeting were read and approved. An announcement was made of Recreation School to be held lit Purdue University, November 25. at 1:00 p.m. Rita Jarvis gave a report on the State Rural Youth Day held November 13. in conjunction with the Indiana Farm Bureau Convention. Kenneth Ti nas, state recreational director, gaye a short talk announcing a Indiarta Rural Youth trip to be taken to Washington. D. C., in the spring. The election of 1947 officers was held with the following being fleeted: President —Clarence Duttlinger; Vice President^—Thelma Jackson; Secretary-T reaturer- *- Bethel Stath; Publicity Chairman —Rita Jarvis; Recreational Director —Elizabeth Pettet. At the adjournment of the business meeting the group participated in dancing square dancing and folk games. Popcorn and apples were served by the refreshment committee.
