MUCK CROP SHOW AT NORTH JUDSON, NOV. 13-15

Layafette, Ind., Sept. The Northern Indiana Muck Crops show will be held Nov. 13 through 15 at the North Judson high school gymnasium, at was announced today by Roscoe Fraser, Purdue University extension horticulturist, who is in charge of ar r an gem en ts. Between 5000 and 6000 persons are expected to attend the show which will include educationional and crop exhibits. The crops to be exhibited are potatoes, onions, cabbage, celery cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, mint oil, popcorn and com. Special features of the show, which is being sponsored cooperatively by the Muck Crop Growers Association and the Purdue University Agricultural Extension Service, will be the crowning of the Muck Crops Champion and the Muck Crops Queen. Candidates for the latter honor will be selected in local communities throughout the area.
