DE MOTTE CHOIR TO PRESENT EASTER CANTATA AT TEFFT
The Choir of the DeMolte Methodist Church w ill present its Easter Cantata, “When Christ Arose" at the Tetri Methodist Church on Good Friday evening, April lit, at 8 o’clock. The words of the choirs music present the Easter story after the sone had been rolled away. The music is well suited to the Easter occasion. Solo numbers are furnished by Mrs. William Ely, Mr. Kenneth Zeek, Mrs. Beulah Hart, Mis. Kenneth Zeek. Mr. Gus Bissau, Mrs. Otto DeYoung Jr., and a duet by Alice and William Bowen. Ibis is a choir made up of twenty-two voices under the direction of Mr. Winfred Hammerton and the accompanist is Mrs. D. M. Mauman. The program will be preceded by a short devotional conducted by Rev. W. I). Archibald, the pastor of the church. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy this program. This will he the second appearance for the choir. It sang for a crowded house at the DcMotte Methodist Church last Sunday evening. Those who were in attendance there expressed their appreciation for the fine way in which the program was rendered. After their extensive practicing for the program the members of the choir appreciated the fine attendance at the program on Sunday evening.
