METHODIST CHOIR WILL PRESENT EASTER CANTATA

The DeMotte Methodist Choir will present ;m Custer Cantata “When Christ Arose” by Forrest (i. Walter and L. S. Clark on Palm Sunday evening at the DeMotte Methodist Cluireh at 7:la o’clock. The choir is under the direction of Mr. Winfred Hnmmerton. Mrs. I- M. Hautnan is the accompanist. The choir is made up of twentyone voices from the local coil gregation. It has been meeting faithfully for practice for the past two and one-half months. Solo parts will be rendered by the following members: Mrs. William Ely, Mr. Kenneth Zeck, Mr. Carl Hicbiger, Mrs. Beulah Hart, Mrs. Kenneth Zeck, Mr. C.us Lissau, Mrs. Otto DeYoung .lr. Miss Alice Bowen and William Bowen will sing a duet number. The Cantata presents the part of the Easter story immediately following the ressurection. The cantata will he proceeded by a brief devotional service in charge of the pastor, Hev. W. D. Archibald. The choir has accepted the invitation to give the cantata at the Tefft Methodist church. This program will be given on Good Friday evening at 8 o’clock. The two churches in Tefft are cooperating in sponsoring the program in Tefft. Everyone is invited to attend the program and is assured of a good program of inspiring Easter music.
