Holstein and Guernsey. These cows are producing 700 lbs. milk a day, with yearly test of 4.2; ranging from Ist calf cows to 8 year olds. Most of these cows have been raised on this farm. DAIRY EQUIPMENT—One Mc-Cormick-Deering Double unit milking machine; one DeLaval-2 single unit machine; 28 8-gal. milk cans; 2 wash tanks. FARM EQUIPMENT—One 10-20 tractor, A-l shape; 1 Hayes corn planter, with tractor hitch; 1 9-ft. single disc; 1 dump rake; 1 harrow; 1 wagon gear; 1 hand cornsheller; 175 hedge line posts, good ones. HOUSEHOLD GOODS—Rockers; Singer sewing machine; bookcase and writing desk; child’s roll-top desk; beds; sewing cabinet; wool rugs, 1 9x12; 1 12x12; I lawn mower; laundry stove, and other J articles too numerous to men-; tion. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dykema who have been living at Wayne, Michigan have returned to DeMotte and expect to make their home here. Eileen Ann Knip, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Knip entertained 10 little friends Saturday. It was Eileen’s third birthday. Refreshments of ice cream and cake were served.

Mrs. Carrie Konovsky and son George left Friday for Sebring, Florida to visit Pfc. and Mrs. Paul Sekema and daughter. Hert Vandercar of Wheatfield visited in DeMotte last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kelly of Hollywood, California visited last week at the home of Mrs, Melvin Kelly.
