HALLOWE’EN CARNIVAL
Progress is being made ’in getting ready for the Carnival to be held at the DeMotte High School next Tuesday night. Contributions are being made to buy prizes for the masquerade contest and to buy other things connected with the evening of fun. There will be entertainment all evening for all—young and old alike. There will be the Follies of ’44, athletic show, amateur show and other free acts and contests. Then there will be games—Bingo a white elephant sale, fish pond and many others. There will also be an opportunity to obtain refreshments and novelties. Come one! Come all! Let’s work together in making this the time and place for showing the Hallowe’en spirit rather than in any way wasting material or destroying property in the community. The activities start with prizes being given to the winners of the masquerade contest. Don’t miss it!
