Holland Airborne Invaders

British paratroopers in a C-47 transport plane as they started on the journey which took t|iem far behind the Gernihn lines in Holland ! during the airborne invasion of the low country. They advanced about 30 miles in five hours after landing, met with strong opposition, including a German trap, and were not able to contact their main lines.
