"B" And “C” Rations

,With every new M A” Book that was sent out we enclosed a “Mileage Rationing Record.” This record takes the place of the old “Tire Inspection Record” and must be sent in with every application for “B” or “C” Rations. Also the speedometer reading must be given, and the application must be signed. Many applications are being returned for completetion causing extra work and delay. On and after Oct. 16, 1944 you can buy a coal or wood heating or cooking stove without a certificate. This ruling does not apply to gas, oil or other types of stoves.
