Ration Board News

The price panel of the Jasper County War Price and Rationing Board today reminded all clothing retailers, as well as wholesalers, who sell womens’, girls’ and childrens’ outwear clothing under Regulation 330 are required to file two copies of their pricing chart with the OPA on or before October 15. After Nov. 15 retailers and wholesalers will not be permitted to sell any garments until they have received OPA acknowledgment of the receipts of their charts. Both copies of the chart must contain the name and address, type of business, and bear the signature of an Official of the firm. These should be mailed to the OPA District Office, 429 North Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
