The Home Economics Club met at the home of Mrs. Goldie Jungles. An election of officers was held. Mrs. Jungles was re-elected as President; Mrs. Wooten, VicePresident; Mrs. Ella Peterson, Secretary and Treasurer; Mrs. Guy Markin, Reporter; Mrs. Bert Filson and Mrs. Peterson will attend the leaders meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Current are now settled in their new business of conducting a store in the M. F. Pruett store building which they recently purchased. Plan to attend the Home-Com-ing at the Kniman Church on Sunday, Oct. Ist. A group of friends of Mrs. Gladys Meyers met at her home on Wednesday afternoon to honor her with a stork shower. There were twenty-four ladies and nine children present. She received a large number of beautiful gifts, several from friends unable to attend. Delicious refreshments were served and everyone enjoyed the afternoon. The Law vs. Snake Worship.
